Morning Pearl: soft and romantic boudoir photography

For a boudoir shoot to have a signature mood, it is essential to discuss the stylistic direction, accessories, makeup and hairstyle in advance. Assimilating the style creates the free flowing organic atmosphere during the shoot, so we are free to experience the moment of perfect light, movement, look. The model and the photographer become a duet, like musicians in free improvisation. That is when small miracles happen, we capture the magic of the moment and the most exciting photographs are born.

Roxy is an epitome of a real woman: delicate, playful, natural. Yet, she has a rock and roll spark and spontaneity, which are very close to my nature.

Our photo session took place in an exceptional apartment in the centre of Paris. The soft light from the windows and the pearl grey textures of the interior created a dreamy setting for our shoot. Long, slightly drawn curtains and a dusky ambience of the rooms emphasized the sensual image of Roxy. Natural make-up, slightly disheveled hair, powder pink and ivory shades, smoky haze veiling the nudity - all these elements made the series tender and romantic.
