How to prepare for your boudoir photoshoot in Paris
Beauty is individual, each heroine has her own story.
The Archetypes and Sex symbols of different eras reveal and assert their temperaments in a very personal visual manner. For the photographs to be expressive, awaken the imagination, and inspire wonderful emotions, we also need to tell your unique story.
Before the photoshoot, it's important that we get to know each other, whether through an online meeting or, if possible, in person. As women, we'll discuss the photoshoot, what has inspired you for this adventure, and what you envision for the end result.
For each photoshoot, I create a mood board, for us to discuss the visual examples together.
Cinema, modern and classical art, aesthetics from different eras, glamorous images from both the present and the past, pop culture and fashion become our guidelines for creating the story.
This will help us imagine and create a scenario in which you will feel confident, beautiful, and enjoy the photoshoot.
Throughout my career as a photographer, I also spent several years working as a fashion model. This experience now greatly benefits every boudoir shoot as I can provide advice on finding a comfortable and attractive posture, natural movement, and the most flattering angles.
We will also discuss clothing and accessories. I always welcome it if a client brings the lingerie or clothes in which she feels seductive. Additionally, I will prepare the necessary styling, including stockings, jewelry, accessories, and shoes, to enhance the overall image and add a cinematic touch to the shoot.
Choosing the right hotel for the shoot is of utmost importance. We can collaborate with some of the most beautiful hotels in the city, and I will provide advice on the various options available to align with the Boudoir vision we have in mind.
Both the styling, as well as the colours of the interior should correspond to our concept. Red leather sofas and mirrors might be suitable for one story, while soft silk bedspreads and subdued lighting could be ideal for another.
The preparation stage is a fun and inspiring process that will lead to the creation of images that are tasteful, seductive, and as unique as you are.
